A technical project to create a "fake" Beats advertisement using MODO to achieve realistic results, incorporating technical wireframe to solid transition effects in the animation.
The 3D model is imported into MODO where the scale and geometry is checked before starting the project.
Before adding materials and textures we will first setup the camera views. Each camera is created and then keyframed on the timeline to allow switching from one camera to the other throughout the animation.
The camera switches are nothing exciting but once the final scene comes together it will make more sense.
The scene is lit with a custom HDR light map and then materials and textures are applied to the headphones. The lighting and materials are constantly tweaked until the desired look it achieved.
An object generation assembly node is placed into MODO's Schematic and all the headphone mesh components are plugged into the assembly that then exposes a list of user channels that are tweaked to get a distinctive look.

Here is the final (fake ad) animation. Enjoy!
