Material Setups
Below are the main materials that were created.
Material Render
Lit with an HDRI Map a high resolution image of the planetary gearbox is created using the final material setups. Tweaks might be made at the animation stages.
Animation Workflow
After creating the materials the gearbox assembly was exploded and keyframed while various camera angles were created. The gear components in the body were also animated.
